Welcome to the Always Be Creative club! We’re a creative third space community hosting in-person events across Canada while creating an introvert-friendly space on the internet.

This all started with asking myself when the last time I had fun.

After staring at a screen all day, I thought revisiting a childhood passion of drawing could help me unwind. But staring at a blank page and joining workshops with minimal guidance felt intimidating.

So I revisited my art practice by repurposing existing stationary into junk journal spreads and collage art.

This lit a 🔥 fire in me.

After years of struggling with burnout and publicly recording myself, I was fuelled with creative energy.

I shared this newfound passion with my crafty friends who told me my workshops were fun! It also reminded them of the playful activities they experienced as a kid, which brought me a lot of joy.

So I wanted to continue bringing this energy and spirit to the broader community. To connect with like-minded folks, share my learnings of making art, overcome perfectionism…

…and remind them that they can Always Be Creative ✨
